About me.

Hi, I'm Rosie.

I'm a lifelong theme park nerd: but I'm sure you've heard all that before.

I am a writer of many genres, a student, a hiker, an editor, and a traveller. I am proactive, enthusiastic and resilient. I grew up on the south coast of England, between the sea and the South Downs. I study Media and Communications at the University of Surrey, based in Guildford.

In 2023 I studied in New Zealand, and broadened my horizons to Australia and Singapore. I hiked mountains, visited national parks, theme parks and tourist experiences. After my graduation in 2024, I am participating in the Cultural Exchange Program at Walt Disney World Resort.

Starting from October 2024, I am looking for domestic and international opportunities that can help me learn more about writing, project management and communications across themed experiences.

My happy places are hidden, quiet corners away from the crowd. In themed spaces like The Green Dragon and Harambe Market above, they tell the story of the location with props and ambience. It's the smallest details that make the biggest difference. In the wider world, it is the Uluru desert path or the Glenorchy lakeside at sunset that make me realise how lucky I am to have had these experiences. I know that back in England I will be a stronger member of the team in creating the spaces that make other people's memories.
